PCL Nursing (Staff Nursing) is a 3-year annual system program run under the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT). It aims at preparing professional nurses who can function independently as members of the health team is providing preventive, promotive, curative, and rehabilitative nursing care to the clients. The program focuses on building both theoretical knowledge and practical skills so that students are capable of addressing diverse health needs in different healthcare settings.
They also take a leadership role in managing clients in the hospital as well as in community settings. In addition to direct patient care, graduates are trained to promote health awareness, support community health initiatives, and coordinate with other healthcare professionals. This enables them to contribute effectively not only in clinical practice but also in public health development.
